Best desktop apps for orchestrating AI coding agents

Desktop orchestrators give you a real window onto your agent fleet: tiled sessions, kanban boards, diff review — all outside the terminal. Most isolate parallel agents with git worktrees, so five agents can work the same repo without collisions.

Some are true native builds (Swift/AppKit, GPU-accelerated), others ship cross-platform via Electron or Tauri. Native feels snappier; cross-platform brings Windows and Linux along.
